Donna Bender received AGC’s Edna R. Sewell Bowl for Best in Show in Floral Design for her creation complementing Paul Henry Ramirez’s art installation, Edging into Excess. Donna’s design also garnered the GCA’s Harriet DeWaele Puckett Creativity Award, recognizing a uniquely skillful and creative response.

Candy Grisi and Jan Hutchinson won AGC’s Museum Director’s Award for Floral Design; AGC’s True Colors Award for most captivating use of color; and AGC’s Duet Award, for a unique and skillful response by a partnership entry. Their mass design interpreted Christopher Pekoc’s Shadows (The Chinese Room Remembered, in Red).
